Wheeler Dealers World Tour – VW SP2 Episode in Brazil

Project Overview: Wheeler Dealers World Tour, a long-running automotive TV series broadcast on Discovery Turbo and in Brazil on the HBO streaming platform, features classic car stories from around the world. In Season 2, the production traveled to Brazil to film an episode focused on the iconic Volkswagen SP2, a distinctive classic car brought to life through mechanical upgrades and storytelling rooted in local culture and automotive heritage. Our role in the project: Brazil Base Productions supported the series creators from the early research stage of the SP2 episode. Our work included researching and sourcing vehicles, contacting owners, finding experts, location scouting, securing permits, coordinating local partnerships, and managing logistics across multiple filming locations and cities, as well as providing a local crew to support the production needs.
